This study compared SimPAV with the results from Carteaux et al. during PAV+ titration.
Screen copy of PAV+ on SimVA, respiratory system compliance and total resistances are measured during a randomized end inspiratory occlusion of less than 300 ms. Gain is 50% with a PEEP of 5 a Paw peak of 14 cmH2O and a corresponding adaptative Pmus estimated at 9 cmH2O.
